Gary built up his business slowly while occupied as a Victorian police officer, when he had enough clients he took the leap and started the business from home and left the police force. It wasn’t lengthy prior he put on his beginning apprentice and started renting a shed. The business kept growing and in 1980 they built their beginning dedicated factory sign shop. In 1989 Tim, their son, started occupied with the business, by then it was quite a important company. Tim started in engraving then moved to vinyl, then spraying and manufacturing and onto production management and sales. Tim has everlasting had a passion for illuminated signage and in 1992 Gary purchased a Neon bending business in Melbourne where Tim went and completed his training they then brought the plant back to the Sign shop in Kane Road. In April 2008 Gary and Letitia’s son Tim and his wife Tracey purchased the business and continue the tradition started with Mum Dad that has seen the company grow into one of regional Australia’s most healthy obvious and respected sign companies. The business plan is heavily focused on continuing the traditions, labor ethic and originate mind into tomorrow technologies. Tim Tracey are arrogant owners of Sign By Knight and are happy to be taking it in to the following generation and only hope they can be as successful and carry on the marvelous reputation that Signs By Knight has experienced over the previous 35 years.
